A few days ago i wrote a tutorial on WPExplorer to explain how to create a WordPress widget plugin the right way. This post contains a detail method to create a plugin containing a widget that be easily modified to fit your needs. I’m writing a second part to this tutorial that will be available next week.In this second part i’ll explaining how to add more complex fields to the widget such as checkboxes and dropdown select, but i’ll also cover specific techniques to add advanced textarea features.
